WARNING: During the summer season (June 1 to September 30) filming on the beaches are limited to weekdays and from 7am to 10am or 7pm to 10pm.

This is the last of the recently created beaches on the Barcelona seafront. Located next to Nova Mar Bella beach, it was completed in summer 2006. It is approximately 375 metres long.

Llevant beach is the result of the demolition of an old breakwater, the 'Escullera de Prim', and the construction of the platform that was intended to host the marine zoo. It was opened on a temporary basis in summer 2006.

This beach also has a volleyball court, located at the west end near the breakwater that separates it from Nova Mar Bella beach.

You can easily reach the beach using public transport: by Metro (line L4, Selva de Mar and El Maresme / Forum); by bus (lines 7, 36, 41 and 141); and by tram (line T4 stops at Selva de Mar and Maresme). Cyclists can use the cycle lane on the seafront promenade or the four Bicing stations located near the beach (Passeig Marítim de la Mar Bella, Passeig de Garcia Fària 37 / Josep Ferrater, Passeig del Taulat 188 and Passeig del Taulat, 238).

Llevant beach provides easy access and enjoyment for everyone, with special attention paid to those whose mobility is limited in some way: it features parking areas from which it is easy to reach the dry beach, visual and tactile signage and information, adapted toilets, wooden walkways down to the water and adapted showers with chairs. The public transport has also been adapted to provide easier access.
