Climbing up the foothills of Collserola, Pla de Fornells is a park that combines an eminently forest character with a very modern layout. There are several facilities nearby, notably the Rogelio Rivel circus school.

These green spaces start in a small, paved square. It has a small pool with aquatic plants at the centre and parterres all around, with trees, shrubs and groups of flowers. Stairs give access to the various levels, which rise up along large landings connected by ramps. These are resting areas that look out over the city, and the higher the area, the better the view.

A large slope at the top is covered by forest plants that occupy over half the park. Use was made of the slope to build an amphitheatre where events are often held.
