Sant Antoni Market:

One of the largest in Barcelona, Sant Antoni is actually a three-in-one market: the fresh food market, the clothes market and the book market.

It was built in 1872 and opened in 1882 by Rius i Taulet, the major of Barcelona in those moment. In 2009 the building was closed because the remodelling Project started. It held up because the workmen found archaeological remains. The new market has opened on May of 2018.

Schedule: from Monday to Saturday, 8 to 20h.

Encants:

Located in the vicinity of Sant Antoni Market since the beginning of the 20th century and run by the descendants of the Avinguda del Paral·lel. Currently, the Encants are in the market’s perimeter, and in the Tamarit Street.  

The schedule is not defined, but days are: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The Sant Antoni Sunday Market is the biggest book, magazine, postcard and video game market in the world. Located outside Sant Antoni Market.

It opens on Sunday morning.
