The Tower of Tribute, also known as the Main Portal of the Monastery, consists of an element of the monastic wall and served as access to the enclosure. The Tower offers an entrance formed by an arch of large voussoirs and a door that preserves the remains of a machicolation on top, which protected the entrance. The portal was preceded by a bridge over a moat (currently covered by a glass platform) and a second exterior portal with two turrets that stand out on the pavement. The tower has undergone renovations and destruction over the years, but today it houses the Tourist Office.
